The Work

Operating within a major healthcare campus, this role delivers a diverse mix of reactive breakdown response, preventative building services maintenance, and minor electrical upgrade projects.

  • Hospital Facility Maintenance: Fault-find and repair electrical infrastructure, plant rooms, power distribution systems, and backup power equipment across campus buildings.

  • Compliance & Routine Testing: Manage programmed testing protocols, including exit/emergency lighting compliance, RCD testing, and statutory safety checks.

  • Minor Projects & Installs: Execute electrical components of minor renewal works, fit-outs, and "make safe" emergency adjustments.

What You Need

We are tracking for a highly skilled, safety-conscious Electrician who takes pride in a professional finish and thrives in a high-compliance institutional environment.

  • Licensing & Qualifications: Cert III in Electrotechnology and a valid QLD Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Mechanic minimum).

  • Safety Tickets: Current LVR/CPR and Construction Industry White Card.

  • Technical Compliance: Thorough working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, electrical hazard identification, and WHS regulations.

  • Preferred Tickets: Working at Heights (WAH) or Confined Space (CS) qualifications are highly advantageous.

  • Pre-Employment Screening: Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and meet the health precinct's standard vaccination compliance requirements.
